My Son’s Room.

This is my son’s room. I have been looking everywhere for a gigantic map of the world to put on the wall. I finally found one on the internet. My best friends husband put it on the wall together with my husband. I think they both did a great job!

The desk is by Richard Lampert. I thought it was a good investment since the height is adjustable. The little red container for books etc. is by Werkhaus, the grey shelf, too.

The bed already belonged to my grandmother, then to my father, to me and now to my son. My German grandmother had it made by a carpenter in the 1930s. I painted it white a few years ago in order to give it a fresher look. The mattress is covered in leather. This was my fathers idea so that it could be used as a sofa as well.

The painting of the Nutella jar was a present by my son’s godfather. My son loves Nutella… The chest of drawers replaces a wardrobe. I bought it at Ebay, when my son was a baby.
